Carrot n Curd Toast

A very simple healthy toast which can be prepared quickly! Chopped veggies (of your choice) is mixed with curd and then spread on to the bread slices . Toast it and there you go, a very delicious toast is ready!

Preparation time : 7 minutes

Cooking time : 5 minutes

Serves – 2

Ingredients :

  1. Carrot – 3 (peeled)
  2. onion – 1
  3. green chilly – 1
  4. yoghurt/curd – 3/4 cup
  5. Rava – just enough to make the curd masala thick
  6. salt
  7. ghee
  8. bread slices

Method :

Step 1: Chop carrots, onion and green chilly together in a chopper.

Step 2: Take a mixing bowl  with yoghurt in it. Add chopped carrot and onion to it, add salt. mix well. Add rava / semolina to the above mixture to make it thick.

Step 3: Place this mixture on one side of a slice of bread.

Step 4: Heat ghee in a pan. Place the bread slice with the mixture facing side on to the pan.Once it is well cooked, apply the mixture on the upper side of the bread slice. Toss it over. Remove from the flame once it is cooked on either side.

Have it hot with either ketchup or mint chutney!
