Chutney Club Sandwich

A healthy yummy chutney  sandwich clubbed with veggies to kick start your day! It is ideal for kids’ tiffin boxes too!

Preparation time :15 minutes

Grilling time : 5 minutes

Serves – 2


  1. brown bread slices – 9
  2. potato – 1  (boiled , peeled and sliced)
  3. cucumber – 2 (thinly sliced)
  4. tomato – 1 (thinly sliced)
  5. chaat masala – 1 teaspoon
  6.  mint leaves – 10-15 leaves
  7. small onion – 1/2
  8. tomato (small) – 1
  9. green chilly – 1
  10. salt
  11. butter

Method :

Step 1 : To prepare green chutney- Grind together mint leaves , small onion , small tomato,green chilly and salt to a fine paste.

Step 2: On one side of the bread slice , apply butter . On the other side , apply green chutney.

Step 3: Now place sliced potato . ( can also place cheese slices ; sprinkle pepper)

Step 4: Place another slice of bread . Top it with cucumber and tomato slices. Sprinkle chaat masala. (may also squeeze in ketchup)

Step 5: On the last slice of bread, apply green chutney on one side and butter on the other side. Place this slice on top of cucumber and tomato .

Step 6 : Finally, grill it for 5 minutes or until it turns golden.
