Dynamite chicken sandwich

Dynamite chicken sandwich, a delicious, spicy sandwich which is filled with crispy chicken fillet coated in dynamite sauce is a must try recipe. Add some onion and lettuce to give a perfect crisp to the sandwich. The batter used for chicken marination is same as Broasted chicken. Its a perfect recipe to get juicy chicken with crispy coating.

Prep time: 2 hours

Cooking time : 10 minutes

Ingredients :

For chicken marination :

  • Chicken breast – 1 kg, boneless
  • Yoghurt – 3 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
  • Egg – 1
  • All purpose flour – 3 tbsp
  • Red chilly powder – 2 tsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Vinegar – 1.5 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp

For coating :

  • All purpose flour – 1 cup
  • Corn flour – 1/4 cup
  • Pepper powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp

For Dynamite sauce :

  • Sriracha sauce/ red chilly sauce – 4 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise – 4 tbsp
  • Sweet chilli sauce/ honey – 1 tbsp

Method :

Prepare chicken fillet :

  1. Wash and clean the chicken pieces and pat dry.
  2. Cut them into thin fillet.
  3. Take a fork and prick the chicken fillet.
  4. Add all the ingredients listed under for marination in a bowl, mix well and marinate the chicken for 2 hours.
  5. Add all ingredients listed under for coating in a bowl/ plate.
  6. Heat oil for deep frying the chicken fillet.
  7. Take each piece of marinated chicken, place on the coating bowl, coat very well on all sides.
  8. Fry them on medium heat until golden brown.
  9. Add all ingredients listed under for dynamite sauce, in a bowl and mix well.
  10. Dip and coat the fried chicken in the dynamite sauce.
  11. Take a sandwich bun, place some onions, lettuce, coated chicken fillet, sprinkle some sauce and chilly flakes.
  12. The delicious dynamite chicken sandwich is ready to serve 🙂
