Pav bhaji is a popular street food from Mumbai. Here I share the easy recipe of bhaji prepared in cooker. Its served with butter roasted pav. Using butter enhances the taste. Add vegetables of your choice and mash the bhaji well for smoothy consistency.

Ingredients :
2 tablespoon butter
1 small sized onion, finely chopped
1 big tomato, finely chopped
1 medium potato , cut into medium cubes
1/2 cup peas
few cauliflower florets
1/2 carrot, roughly chopped
1 capsicum, roughly chopped
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon chilly powder
1 tablespoon pav bhaji masala
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
salt to taste
Method :
Heat the cooker, add 1 tablespoon butter , add onions and saute well for a minute. Then add ginger garlic paste, saute for a minute, add tomato, all vegetables and saute for a minute. Add salt, chilly powder, turmeric powder, pav bhaji masala powder and saute for a minute. Add 1 cup of water and close the lid.
Let the bhaji cook for 3 whistles. Open the lid after pressure settles. Mash the bhaji very well.
Switch on the flame, Add little water if bhaji is very thick consistency, add 1 tablespoon butter and stir well. At the end add some lime juice and switch off the flame.
In a pan add little butter, roast the pav . Serve hot pav bhaji with finely chopped onions, coriander leaves and lime on the side.
