Quesadilla is basically a Mexican dish consisting of tortilla shell that is filled with various fillings. It can be cheese , egg, chicken , veggies etc. Here we share a very simple yet delicious recipe . Stay hooked for more quesadilla recipes!!
Preparation time : 5 minutes
Cooking time : 10 minutes
- Tortilla shells – 4
- eggs – 2
- milk – 4 tablespoon
- green pepper (capsicum) – 1/4 diced
- Shredded mozzarella cheese – 1/2 cup
- salt , pepper , butter
Step 1 : In a bowl , break open eggs . Whisk it with milk, salt and pepper. Add in green pepper / capsicum.
Step 2: In a pan , heat butter . Add egg mixture . Keep stirring it and cook until it is no longer runny. Remove from flame and keep it aside.
Step 3 : Again ,heat 1 teaspoon butter in the pan. (keep it in medium-low flame). Place a tortilla shell. Assemble 2-3 tablespoon of mozzarella cheese (Make sure to leave a 1/2 inch border). Place egg mixture on top of the cheese . Again sprinkle more cheese on top of the egg mixture.
Step 4 : Close it with another tortilla shell and give it a gentle press.
Step 5 : Once the bottom tortilla shell is slightly golden colour , flip it over . Cook until the latter tortilla shell is also slightly golden in color.
Step 6 : Repeat the above steps for remaining 2 tortilla shells.
