This is one of the quickest and the delicious dish you can come up with if you have some dosa batter left with you. As the name suggests, the dish resembles pizza in looks ; but with dosa as the base , chutney as the sauce and topped with veggies and cheese.
Pizza Dosa : –
Preparation time : 5 minutes
Cook Time : 5 minutes
- Dosa batter – 1 cup
- onion – 1 (diced)
- green pepper (capsicum) – 1 diced
- tomato – 1 medium (diced)
- mozzarella cheese – to sprinkle
- Garlic chutney – as needed
Step 1 : Heat a tawa. spread a ladle of dosa batter (neither too thick nor too thin).Now pour a little oil through the sides of the dosa.
Step 2 : top it up with 1 teaspoon garlic chutney .
Step 3 :Arrange onion , tomato , capsicum on it.
Step 4 : Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top to cover the veggies.
Step 5: Cover and cook on low flame until the cheese melts.
Step 6 : Remove the dosa from the tawa. Serve it hot . It tastes delicious as it is.
Note : I have made Dosa pizza with simple basic ingredients . you may add more veggies of your choice like corn, olives, jalepenoes . You may also sprinkle some herbs and chilli flakes.
