The masala powder is very useful powder in my kitchen . I use it to cook chicken, mutton, chana, mushroom etc. Once roasted and powdered, it has a very good shelf life of upto 6 months (1 year if refrigerated).
Ingredients :
- red chilly – 200gms
- coriander seeds- 1 cup
- jeera – 2.5 tablespoon
- fennel seeds – 1/4 cup
- elaichi – 12
- cinnamon – 2 inch
- Pepper – 20
- Clove – 15
First roast red chilly. Keep it aside. Then roast all the above ingredients .Once it is cooled, powder them all together. Store it in an air tight container.
