The best side dish for fried rice and other Chinese cuisines. It also goes very well with Batoora(click here for the recipe) , roti/chapathi etc
Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cooking time : 30 minutes
Ingredients :
- chicken – 1 kg
- soy sauce – 2 tablespoon
- chilly powder – 1 tablespoon (or according to your spice level)
- Coriander powder – 1 tablespoon
- ginger-garlic paste – 2 teaspoon
- yoghurt /curd – 1 and 1/2 cup
- Lemon – 1
- Capsicum – 1 big
- onion – 1
- Ketchup – 1 cup
- sugar – 1 teaspoon
- butter – 3 tablespoon
- salt
- curry leaves – a handful

Method :
Step 1 : Cut and clean the chicken . Marinate the chicken with soysauce and salt and keep aside for 10 minutes .
Step 2: Now add Chilli powder , coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste , yoghurt, lemon ,sugar to the above and marinate well. Keep it for an hour.
Step 3: Squeeze out the marinade well and shallow fry the chicken pieces. Keep it aside.
Step 4 : In a pan, heat butter . Add curry leaves, onion capsicum . Saute for a couple of minutes. Then add marinade (which was squeezed out from the chicken ) and ketchup to the above. Toss in fried chicken pieces. combine very well in medium heat and simmer it for 10 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.
serve it with fried rice or roti.
