These cute little snack can be called as paneer popcorn too. Its a very easy recipe. They are crunchy outside and soft inside. Kids are going to love this. Well we can say these are vegetarian version of chicken nuggets.

Serves : 2-3
Paneer cubes – 200 gms
Red chilly powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 teaspoon
Jeera powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – a pinch
Vinegar or lime juice – 1 teaspoon
Corn flour – 4 tablespoons
All purpose flour ( Maida) – 2 tablespoons
Pepper powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- In a large bowl, add red chilly powder, ginger garlic paste, jeera powder, turmeric powder, vinegar/ lime juice, 1 teaspoon salt and mix well. Then add the paneer cubes and gently coat them well. Marinate them for 10 to 15 minutes.
2. In another bowl, take cornflour, maida, pepper powder, pinch of salt and add water ( approximately 5 tablespoons) in parts and mix well to form a semi thick batter without any lumps.
3. Next dip the marinated paneer cubes in the batter , then coat them with bread crumbs and deep fry these coated paneer till light golden brown on low to medium flame.
Serve them hot with ketchup or mayonnaise or dip of your choice and enjoy 🙂
