
Chicken macaroni is a delicious pasta made using minced chicken. Macaroni is a variety of pasta which has the shape of a curved narrow tube. This chicken macaroni is made using onion, tomato and Indian spices – thus giving it an Indian taste.

Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cooking time : 30 minutes
Ingredients :
- macaroni – 400 gm
- Chicken mince – 400 gms
- onion – 7 (finely chopped)
- Tomato – 4 (chopped)
- ginger-garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
- red chilli powder – 1 tablespoon
- coriander powder – 1/2 tablespoon
- turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- tomato Ketchup – 3-4 tablespoon
- salt , oil
- Butter – 1 tablespoon
Method :
Step 1 : Heat enough water in a pot. When it starts boiling, add required salt and a few drops of oil. Cook the macaroni for about 10-15 miuntes. drain it and run cold water over it. Keep it aside.
Step 2 : Heat oil in a deep sauce pan. saute onion until it turns golden. Add ginger – garlic paste and saute well. then add tomato. saute till it is soft and well cooked.
Step 3 : Add chilli powder , coriander powder, turmeric powder and mix well.
Step 4 : Add chicken mince and salt .Combine very well. (do not add water; chicken mince releases water.) cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until chicken mince is well cooked
Step 5 : Add cooked macaroni and ketchup to the above. Give it a good mix. Add a tablespoon of butter . simmer and cook for about 5-10 minutes.
The delicious chicken macaroni is ready!!
