Chicken hariyali kabab

Chicken hariyali kabab / Chicken green kabab is one of those starters you would love to add in your party menu. The marination ingredients are easily available at home. Either fry it in the pan or grill it in the oven, it’s going to be your new favourite starter.

It can be prepared using boneless chicken or bone- in chciken, the recipe remains the same.

Preparation time : 4 hours

Cooking time : 20 minutes

Serves : 6

Ingredients :

Chicken – 1 kg ( boneless or bone-in)

Fresh cream – 2 tablespoons

Yoghurt – 3 tablespoons

Garam masala powder – 1 teaspoon

Pepper powder – 2 teaspoon

Lime – 1 ( juice extracted)

salt to taste.

For grinding:

Coriander leaves – 1/2 bunch

Mint leaves – a handful

Green chilly – 6 ( according to your taste)

Garlic – 6 cloves

Ginger – 1 inch

Method :

Clean the chicken, squeeze well and keep aside.

Blend all the ingredients mentioned under for grinding.

In a large bowl, add the ground masala, all other ingredients and mix well. Marinate chicken in this for 4 to 5 hours.

Shallow fry or grill the chicken for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve them hot with your main course and enjoy 🙂
