Caramelized Nuts

The caramelized nuts can be prepared in bulk and stored. It can be used in and to garnish most of the dessert and drinks; thus minimizing the need to caramelize every time you prepare payasam, pudding, kheer etc . These nuts give a good crunch for puddings.


Ingredients :

  1. Almond
  2. cashew nuts
  3. raisins

Method :

Firstly chop the almonds and cashews . Shallow Fry them in a frying pan using ghee or butter. you may add a teaspoon of sugar . Once cooled, store them in an air tight container in a refrigerator .

Note :  Choice of dry fruits is yours. You may add in any dry fruit you like.
